I was lucky enough to go to South Africa on a mission trip with Common Ground tis Summer. Seriously, the best adventure of my life. I still can't fully understand the scope of what that trip was. I can't even believe I was in Africa. It was amazing, and the staff at Thrive Africa was even more unbelievable. I made this vid to show some of the stuff we saw and did. Watching it I can still smell the grass and the air. I would probably jump at the chance to return. Which is what one of our team members is doing. Jenn McKee is going back to intern at Thrive Africa for a whole year. I'm a little jealous and a lot proud (?). I know this will be life changing for her. Good Luck Jenna!
