Cool news for this weekend. I got the opportunity to be an extra in a film being filmed in Manassas, VA. The movie is called "Bright Lights and Promises." I believe it to be named after the song of the same title by 60's artist Janis Ian. I also believe the movie is taken from a musical, which again shares the same name. My part is minuscule. I'll be playing a bar patron, while the actors and actresses perform songs. That said, I couldn't be more excited about it. The film is being produced by experienced producers and is poised to run the festival circuit (local festivals, Sundance, etc.) Stoked. I'll actually be filming tomorrow and Sunday the 28th. The film has been shooting since 09, and these seem to be the last remaining shots before the film is finished. It sounds like a really cool project. I'll try to sneak some pics at the shoot ;)
