More news. The Bright Lights and Promises shoot was really great and really fun. I played an extra part as a bar patron. We only filmed one scene for four hours. Believe it or not, it was fairly exhausting. The scene was hilarious because the main character was "singing" (she was lip singing from a ipod), and she had this big reveal where we found out she was not who we thought she was. So we had to act surprised over and over again, lol. So funny. The girl I was seated at the table with was a major drag. She must have been tired, because she was barely even moving by the end of it. It's not for the weak :)

In other news there is an low budget super hero movie filming in Baltimore over the Summer. Anyone who knows me is probably thinking, "Well that makes a lot of sense." Yeah, I like my super hero movies. But this seems like a pretty cool thing. The film is called "The Peculiars." It looks like it may be in the "Heroes" vein, but I can't say for sure. I got a response from the casting department the other day, after I sent in my headshot and resume, to schedule an audition. I am pretty stoked!! I have to prepare a monologue for the audition, which does scare the crap out of me. I tink I have finally landed on one. "The Invisible Man" by H.G. Wells. Not 100% sure though. What would you do? I need to figure it out fairly quickly. Maybe a trip to the library is in order.
